Private Lessons
Our two-hour private lessons provide 1-on-1 instruction for newcomers to clay or those seeking focused time with an experienced instructor who will support your clay making goals and help you hone your skills. Private lessons are also great as a family activity, bestie night out, or a change of pace date night. If you’ve never worked with clay before, a private handbuilding lesson is a great place to start. If you have dreamt of spinning clay on a wheel, a private wheel lesson is ideal.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
The cost includes firing and finishing of 1 piece per participant. Additional pieces are $20 each. Finished pieces will be ready for pick up in about 4 weeks.

Private Events/Parties
Clay Space would love to host a handbuilding or wheel throwing event or party for you and your friends, family, classmates, or work mates. Find your joy with clay and experience it in our casual, friendly setting. One of our skilled ceramic instructors will guide you through the basics of clay making and you can turn your social or team building event into a fascinating session with clay and community while making a special piece or two to take home. No experience needed, just a willingness to let you go and have fun!
COSTS & PROGRAM DETAILS :
Groups up to 8 participants for a total of 2 hours:
The Clay Play Event/Party Package includes a 2 hour lesson or 1 ½ hours of instruction with the last ½ hour reserved for refreshments or parties.
$800 for up to 8 students/$100 for each additional student

***Please note that if you have not registered in our Sawyer system, you may be prompted to “add a child.” The system calls each participant “child” for some reason, so you can add in your own information here if prompted!

PRIVATE LESSON Cancellation Policy:
To request a cancellation and full refund minus a $50 processing fee or to reschedule your event, you must contact us in writing within 48 hours prior to your lesson. Within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Email education@clayspacebk.com with your cancellation request.
EVENT OR PARTY Cancellation Policy:
To request a cancellation and full refund minus a $50 processing fee, you must contact us in writing within 7 days prior to your event. Refunds requested within 7 days of the event are 50% refundable. Email education@clayspacebk.com with your cancellation request.

Package Discount:
Receive a 5% discount when you purchase a series of 4 or more! With 4 or more lessons, you will have the same benefits as our classroom students: You may purchase an Unlimited Benchtime Card to use up to a 6 week period, learn how to glaze your work and do your own glazing and pay the student rate of 6 cents per cubic inch using the student firing fee system.
